The title originates from Haran, who renamed himself Ifar II after his father King Ifar I died. He was crowned King Ifar II, but Ifar also became a title, making him also The Second Ifar.

The history starts with the birth of Prince Matír. In 785 Matír was born, as the son of the crownprince of Anglaria, Mafír. In 788 his brother Imir is born.
