History of Zarlus I of the Hillmen[]
Early Life[]
Zarlus was born in 1335 as the son of King Zulagar and Zulia. Zarlus' paternal grandfather was King Barlus of the Hillmen. Zarlus was the descendant of many Anglarian enemies, like Apollonius, Zaladon and Balagus. Therefore from birth Zarlus was taught to hate Anglaria. When Zarlus was only four years old his grandfather King Barlus died and Zulagar was crowned King of the Hillmen. In 1353 Zarlus got married and on October 8th 1355 his son Zulagar was born. Three years later on May 9th a daughter followed, named Zarlia.On May 5th 1371 Zulagar I died and three days later Zarlus was crowned the new King of the Hillmen.
Reign[]
On July 4th 1373 Zulagar got married to Persephone a Lady from Marduin.Zulagar moved to Wildland for a while and befriended Argus, Lord of Istit. Zulagar introduced Argus to Zarlus and on May 19th 1375 Argus married Zarlia. On February 28th their son Azom was born. On March 8th Zulagar's son Zaladon was born and on August 19th 1378 Zulagar's son Zulad was born.
Death[]
Zarlus wanted to expand his Kingdom so he attacked the Migians on April 21st 1381. The Migians retaliated strongly and Zarlus lost and was killed in battle. He was succeeded by his son Zulagar II of the Hillmen
